Rattanachol Hotel

Rattanachol Hotel, simple, clean, no frills, basic hotel. Service is courteous, employees are nice, food is actually quite good. Simple breakfast where you can eat till you are full. They also have rice porridge buffet where you can order till you can eat no more! All in all the price is worth what you receive overall. However, their Chinese pastry is average, we have had better.

Room was OK… Breakfast staff/buffet was terrible. I would give the room 4 stars… But want to get managements attention: Breakfast staff: zero stars. ZERO Only cold eggs available. Flame was out in the heating unit under the eggs… I let staff know… But they did not seem to care.… They just laughed…so I actually put the eggs on a plate and held them under the toaster. Staff watched me do this. Did not offer fresh or warm eggs. Three of them huddled together, and watched me… I let them know eggs are cold… They just laughed… I told them I wanted warm eggs. They just smiled again….Never replaced the eggs or offered to make me something fresh. I was just amazed at the lack of action from them. Very incompetent, or uncaring… I guess both. They saw me… Understood what I was trying to do Hey management… Here’s a solution: 1) If flame is out under the tray, replace or relight Or 2) offer to make customer some fresh eggs… serve them warm… Or maybe even hot… That would be so great! Explain to staff… If they see a guy holding a plate of eggs under the toaster… He’s probably trying to get them warm. Maybe they can assist?… Especially since they had nothing to do but stand around and watch… They surely had time to maybe… I don’t know… Maybe cook in a pan? But that’s just me… What do I know… I do not own a hotel 🤣 Aside from the eggs… Nothing else looked too appetizing. The fruit looked OK… But by the time I was ready for it… They had taken it all down… Because it was exactly 10 o’clock and I guess staff wanted to get out of there quickly. So I walked across the street and found a place to get some decent coffee… And something to eat. Actually really good coffee. “Classics coffee”. Nice little café with a retro vibe. I would skip hotels breakfast and come here instead.
